This position is on site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top-Secret clearance.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$105,100—$175,100 USD

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems to meet organizational goals and requirements.
- Lead the integration of cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid IT environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and recommend optimization strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, federal regulations, and operational standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system capabilities.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience. In the absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
- Experience in AWS, Microsoft, Windows Server, Citrix, NetApp, Dell Unity, Dell Avamar, Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Ivanti, Microsoft Service Manager, Atlassian, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, WSUS, and BigFix.
- Strong expertise in system architecture, integration, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex technical issues.
- Proven experience with large-scale IT environments, including hybrid cloud systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and technical teams.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (1 year of education = 1.5 years of experience).
- Certifications in lieu of a degree include, but are not limited to: AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, CASP , etc.
- Experience with scientific/forensic applications is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of IT modernization initiatives, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and best practices for system administration and optimization.
