Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure systems in a mission-critical environment.

This role will play a key part in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, and will have a significant impact on the success of our national security initiatives.

About the Role

• Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Manage infrastructure tools and applications such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, Citrix, WSUS, BigFix, NetApp, Dell Unity, and Dell Avamar.
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement improvements to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Support cloud integration initiatives to facilitate migration to hybrid environments.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols, managing system access, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure management, or related technical disciplines.
• Expertise in managing infrastructure solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, Citrix, WSUS, BigFix, NetApp, Dell Unity, and Dell Avamar.
• Experience with server operating systems, including Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Linux.
• Proven ability to design and manage virtualization platforms, disaster recovery solutions, and failover cluster systems.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Salary Range

$137,600 - $229,400 per year
