Computer Network Architect - Basic (Secret to TS) (3276)

SMX is seeking a Computer Network Architect to be part of our Information Technology Team supporting NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD. The position encompasses tasks to design and implement secure computer and information networks including LAN, WAN, intranet, extranet and other data communication networks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design computer networks
• Implement design plans creating testing, development, and production type networks
• Perform network emulation / virtualization, analysis and planning of networks
• Design network and computer security measures
• Install and upgrade systems software
• Maintain software configuration management and documentation
• Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software
