Mission-Critical Systems Engineer Manager
We are seeking an experienced Mission-Critical Systems Engineer Manager to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure systems in a mission-critical environment.
This role will play a key part in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, and will have a significant impact on the success of our national security initiatives.
About the Job
- Lead the design and implementation of complex IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, and virtualization environments.
- Manage infrastructure tools and applications to optimize system performance, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement improvements to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Support cloud integration initiatives to facilitate migration to hybrid environments.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure management, or related technical disciplines.
- Expertise in managing infrastructure solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, Citrix, WSUS, BigFix, NetApp, Dell Unity, and Dell Avamar.
- Experience with server operating systems, including Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Linux.
- Proven ability to design and manage virtualization platforms, disaster recovery solutions, and failover cluster systems.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
