We are looking for driven, innovative individuals who are passionate about software engineering, with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and a keen interest in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The SMX Summer Internship Program runs for nine weeks during the Summer Semester months. Summer Interns will be introduced to our winning culture through onsite, hands-on learning experiences and exposure to the full software development lifecycle as you develop and deliver features for our existing products.

As an SMX Summer Intern you will :

• Participate in a nine-week session to learn from tenured professionals
• Engage in meetings, calls, and gatherings with your designated team.
• Benefit from an assigned SMX mentor who will provide guidance, clarification and feedback.
• Work on a meaningful target Capstone project throughout the internship, culminating in a final project presentation to leadership.
• Attend department “Lunch and Learn” meetings with SMX leaders.
• Have assigned learning modules relevant to your area of focus
• Attend internship social, internal networking, and community volunteer events

The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
