Key Responsibilities For Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Include
- Repairing machinery, including electro-mechanical equipment, motion controls, motors, pneumatic systems, pumps.
- Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and support equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical.
- Locating sources of issues by observing equipment in operation; troubleshooting for issues; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Assisting with the maintenance of inventory records and replenishment of machine parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Working safely. Abiding by and promoting established safety policies and procedures. Identifying and following-up on unsafe conditions.
- Ability to think through the mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery operations and decision-making
- Capability to read electrical and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting of the electro-mechanical systems
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects
- Communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries of internal customers
- Required: High school education
- Required: 2 years related experience; industrial machinery maintenance preferred
- Required: Must be open to off schedule calls and available for overtime as needed
- Preferred: PLC and HMI literacy
- A Plus: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems, CMMS (MVP one)
