What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Truck Driver position at Smyth County Machine?
Prepare machined and fabricated products for shipment to customers, to include appropriately packaging and securing load. Other duties related to shipping and receiving may be performed as necessary.
Must have current CDL and appropriate knowledge of motor carrier safety and regulations. Clean driving record and drug test are required.
Trips normally fall under the air-miles exception, and overnight trips are out of the ordinary but possible.
Experience:
- Commercial Driving: 2 years (Required)
- Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
