What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Front Office Specialist position at SN veterinary care?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing excellent customer service
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and cleaning cages
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, medical history, and treatments
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
Experience:
- Preferred Spanish Speakers (Bilinguals)
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred but
will train the right person.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures preferred
- Experience in dog handling, training, or pet sitting is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
