Description : T he Sheeter Operator is the first step in producing tortilla chip products at SnackCraft . This role ensures the corn is coming to the washer and grinders and communicates with fryer operators to ensure smooth and consistent product flow. They are the driving force for supplying accurate products for the line to run. They maintain the product flow and accuracy given to them through detailed formulas.

Education and Experience : High School Diploma / GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing and equipment operations (food manufacturing experience preferred)

3rd Shift : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 2 0 AM
Work Environment : This job operates in a food production and warehouse setting. TThe floor surface is concrete. The noise level is moderate with no vibration. Material movement takes place throughout the facility.
Core Responsibilities :
Maintain all GMP and Food Safety rules at all times .Be the example in following GMPs, OSHA Safety, and all other procedures.Produce, warehouse, and distribute food that meets food safety, legal, and quality policiesSets up sheeter area at start-up.Ensures the correct cutter is in the sheeter.Follow paperwork and recipes to properly prepare productsAdjust oven and fryer temperature and dwell settingsAdjust water quantities and temperatures, as well as calibration of the water dispensing systemChange bands and wires as neededAssist in the assembly and disassembly of equipment for maintenance and sanitation eventsKnowledgeable in sanitation requirements of equipment, including necessary chemicals, PPE, etc.Complete general maintenance of the equipmentKnowledgeable of the oil applicator systemFollow FEFO (First Expired First Out) when staging and pulling ingredients for productionComplete analytical testing on raw and finished goods, such as weight per 10, oil, and moistureMonitor the temperature of the dough during productionOperate supersack unloading systemsMust be able to read and understand lot code systemsMaintain a continuous product flow through the sheeting equipment to minimize downtimeWeigh and record scrap for pre-fryer and post-fryer.Adjust product thickness in coordination with quality control person or fryer operator.Adjust grinding stones as needed.Change bands or wires as needed.Adjust oven temp as needed.Change corn tanks as needed.Keeps work area neat and clean.Produce product based on customer formulation specificationsPhysical Demands :
