Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
Description : As the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at SnackCraft, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This position will manage the materials department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.
Department : Materials
Reports To : Warehouse Manager
Primary Work Area : Warehouse, Office & Production Floor
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in supervision / management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; AA Degree in Logistics or Management or related field; preferred.
- Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP Software systems, NetSuite preferred.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Achieve positive results, balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale.
- Leadership skills, such as the ability to motivate a team and provide feedback.
- Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
- Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards.
- Forklift License.
