Job Summary:
As an SEC Financial Reporting, you will be a key player in ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements, U.S. GAAP, and SOX 404 regulations. You will assist in preparing financial statements, SEC filings, and supporting audits while collaborating with various teams to enhance financial reporting processes, and also work with external tax advisory teams for tax compliance filing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and MD&A disclosures.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations in all financial reporting activities.
Assist in researching and implementing new accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements.
Prepare supporting schedules, workpapers, and reconciliations for SEC filings.
Assist with XBRL tagging and review of SEC filings.
Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations during audits and quarterly reviews.
Work cross-functionally with accounting, legal, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
Stay current with evolving SEC and GAAP regulations and provide recommendations for compliance and reporting improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred.
2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm preferred), or a corporate finance environment.
Strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance.
Experience with financial reporting software and XBRL tagging is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, SAP).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
