What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP/ House Supervisor position at Snake River Community Support Living?
Snake River is a small organization in Idaho Falls, ID specializing in goal-oriented services to adults with disabilities.Our work environment is demanding, but rewarding and the work we do impacts the I/DD world deeply.We are seeking experienced professionals with a background in supervising the daily operations of their team. This includes establishing shifts and delegates individual employees' workloads, keeping an accurate schedule, and responding to any issues or concerns raised by employees. Our ideal candidate is able to work on a team and balance the needs of each employee with the overall interests of the company.
Requirements:
- Supervise activities of daily living at participant homes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of care staff and ensure that the needs of participants are met
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene and activities of daily living such as eating, cleaning, dressing, and doctors appointments
- Ensure accurate record keeping by staff
- Check participants homes to make sure high standards of cleanliness and safety are kept
- Maintain charts on participant status and fill out required paperwork
- Manage inventory of medications and other supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
