Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by a Licensed Professional Counselor.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Assist clients with daily living skills and promote independence.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Experience in social work or patient care, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Proficient in Trauma Informed Practices and deescalation techniques.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in challenging situations.
