We’re excited to expand our team and are seeking a dedicated Service/Delivery Coordinator to join us in maintaining our tradition of outstanding customer care.
About the Role
The Service and Delivery Coordinator serves as the central point of contact between customers, the service team, and the delivery team, ensuring the seamless scheduling, coordination, and execution of both services and deliveries. This role involves managing Work Orders, coordinating schedules, overseeing deliveries, and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams. A successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person.
- Address customer inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve service-related concerns efficiently and professionally.
- Assign jobs to service technicians based on skills, availability, and location.
- Communicate job details and special instructions to technicians and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Organize and schedule deliveries to ensure on-time arrival while optimizing routes and technician availability.
- Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery details, such as time, location, and any special requirements.
- Track the progress of deliveries and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
- Communicate with drivers to resolve issues, such as delays, route changes, or unexpected challenges.
- Provide real-time updates to customers regarding service or delivery status, delays, or changes.
- Maintain organized records of work orders, delivery schedules, and customer interactions.
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to services or deliveries promptly.
- Collect payments, finalize work orders daily, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with submitting warranties for reimbursement and completion of sales orders.
