What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Snake River Veterinary Center?
Snake River Veterinary Center is seeking a kennel assistant to join our team.
Our mixed animal practice is well equipped with an in-house diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and laser therapy.
We are seeking a positive, energetic team member. Our ideal candidate is reliable, a self-starter, and can work independently. Attention to detail is also important in this position.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Maintaining overall cleanliness of the hospital (this includes vacuuming, mopping, taking out the trash, cleaning kennels, doing laundry, etc.).
-Taking care of hospitalized patients (feeding, walking, medicating, etc.)
-Assisting medical team with restraint and treatments of patients.
This is a part time position. Pay starts at $9 per hour.
