Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a Fortune™ 500 company, an industry leader in financial services technology, is looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Engineer to be a part of a Global Business Solution QA team.

Job Purpose:

• Perform test planning and execution for multiple software products and releases.
• Understand the requirement and prepare the automated solution using existing framework and make changes to adapt to new requirements.
• Interacting with multiple teams in different locations (India, USA).
• Work independently with minimum guidance to meet the milestone.
• Report and track defects in a timely manner during test execution
• Should be flexible enough to work with progressively elaborating requirements and frequent changes.
• Should be collaborative with Dev/QA/BA teams and partner in their progress.
• Good knowledge in software QA test methodologies.
• Works with multiple programs/systems. Serves as a project team member. Provides technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced individuals. Oversees training of team members.
• Works independently with senior management and technical groups globally. Utilize business, functional and/or technical expertise to effectively develop the test strategy and test plans. Leverages this knowledge to then execute the test plan, monitor results, report on progress

Must Have

• Strong Experience in Programming languages like Java, JavaScript.
• Strong Experience in UI Automation using Protractor/Selenium/WebdriverIO
• Experience in TestNG
• Experience in BBD Framework like Cucumber
• Experience in POS functional testing (Manual and Automation)
• Experience with source control and git/GitHub.
• Good Experience with API Testing (Manual & Automation) using Postman or Rest Assured
• Must have Knowledge of SDLC: Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Experience in one of the Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban
• Experience in building an automation framework from scratch
• Experience with version control systems, Jenkins, JIRA and Confluence is required.
• Drives the research, evaluation and implementation of automated testing tools and utilities
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• High level of self-motivation, and a passion for testing.
• Ability to coordinate work with remote teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SQL
• Experience on ticketing tools like JIRA, their workflows.
• Knowledge in Merchant Onboarding
• Knowledge in Cards and Payments
