  • Executive & Regulatory Engagement: Serve as the primary financial crime compliance representative for regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders, providing key insights on risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and program enhancements.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of investigators and compliance professionals. Develop career progression frameworks, optimize team productivity, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Monitoring & Reporting Oversight: Design and refine financial crime compliance reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership, regulatory authorities, and bank partners.
  • System & Rule Optimization: Oversee financial crime detection technologies, transaction monitoring systems, and investigative workflows to enhance risk detection while minimizing false positives and operational inefficiencies.
  • Regulatory Change Management: Stay ahead of evolving AML/CFT regulations, ensuring proactive adjustments to policies and procedures. Lead change management efforts across internal teams and bank partners to maintain compliance readiness.
  • Stakeholder Reporting & Communication Cadence: Establish and maintain structured reporting schedules, ensuring executive leadership, auditors, and bank partners receive timely updates on compliance risks, program effectiveness, and operational efficiency initiatives.

You…

  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of BSA/AML, CFT, OFAC, and FinCEN regulations, with experience leading compliance programs in financial services.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide compliance strategies, implement large-scale process improvements, and influence decision-making at the executive level.
