Essential Functions:
- Cleans gym facility & equipment in accordance with the cleaning checklist.
- Ensures all areas are clean and litter free, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, windows, mirrors, cleaning/wipe down of cardio and weight equipment, functional training area, and bathrooms.
- Picks up trash in all areas of the gym and dispose in dumpster.
- Restock and replace all consumable items (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.)
- Advises assistant anagers of needs to maintain facility: repairs needed, replacement of light bulbs, etc.
- Gather lost and found items from throughout the gym.
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Position (January through March). Approximately 8-10 hours per week (including weekends) during morning/early afternoon hours between 8:00am - 2:00pm. Possibility of extending beyond a 3-month position.
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be able to follow written and oral directions and work independently.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with others.
- Must have a basic understanding of chemicals used in housekeeping.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude.
- Must be responsible and reliable.
- Must provide references.
