Snap Inc are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our FinTech team!
You will design and implement robust microservices and SQL-based reporting solutions to power critical financial systems.
Technologies : Java, backend services, microservices, SQL, Kubernets, Memcache / Ridis, GCP / AWS
- Design, develop, and operate scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs.
- Gather product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver effective solutions.
- Build complex SQL reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate, test, and debug your work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Advocate for best practices in availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
Requirements :
W2 employer full time contract, initially till the end of 2025 with the option to extend yearly. Offer up to $66.67 an hour (40 hours per week, Mon-Fri) plus 50% contribution to medical plan, sick leave and federal public holidays as PTOs. Full remote working from anywhere in the US.
