The Role
The position of Steam Engineer/Boiler Department Manager offers a unique leadership opportunity to oversee a critical department within the organization. This individual will be responsible for managing a biomass-fed boiler system and ensuring seamless 24/7 operation. Leading a team of shift operators and a maintenance operator, the role requires exceptional mechanical expertise, strategic problem-solving skills, and effective people management capabilities. Candidates will be expected to bring a strong technical background, holding at least a fourth-class steam engineer license, while possessing a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will prioritize safety and operational efficiency while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
