We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Operations Specialist to manage post-closing mortgage loan processes and ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation. This role involves preparing and submitting mortgage loans to secondary market investors, researching and clearing post-closing conditions, and reviewing final title work and appraisal requests. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Clearing post-closing deficiency items from corresponding investor.
- Review portfolio mortgage loans for required documentation and follow-up for outstanding documentation.
- Review final title work for sufficiency.
- Send final documentation to investors within specified timeframes.
- Residential appraisal ordering and receiving process.
- Prepare portfolio mortgage loans for imaging.
- Prepare abstracts and other final documents to be sent to borrower(s) and maintain and log on all abstract receipt(s).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years professional office experience
- Knowledge of Mortgage loan processes
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
- Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
- Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
HOURS:
Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
