Project Engineer II

As a Project Engineer II, you'll assist in developing and implementing integrated plans for product development including coordinating activities throughout the product lifecycle from design concept phase to release. You will monitor the product / program / project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed. You'll also review, manage, proactively challenge, and control status of project programs and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports, and guide and lead teams in achieving the goals of the program including issue identification, resolution and contingency planning. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command / control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and Develop ICD documents with customers directly to ensure SOP when given to Engineering for implementation.
• Coordinate and Communicate effectively timelines, requirements, and support activities.
• Coordinate and Communicate effectively with Engineering Service Manager (ESM) and Program Manager (PM) work products so they flow into development cycle in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and Communicate effectively with Systems Engineer (SE) for any documentation or ICD updates in a timely manner.

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
