Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Signalmen. The Signalmen will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing signal systems for railroads. Daily tasks involve inspecting signal equipment, troubleshooting signal systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing regular maintenance and repair tasks. Collaborative work with other crew members and clear communication are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Railroad Rehabilitation, and Signal Systems
- Knowledge of Civil Construction and Telecommunications
- Ability to perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Proficiency in using state-of-the-art construction and signal equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in a related field is a plus
- Experience in the construction or railroad industry is beneficial
