Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a dynamic and skilled Systems Integration & Test Engineer to play a critical role in the research, design, development, testing, certification, deployment, and improvement of cutting-edge products and services. This role will involve leading a team to design and test advanced autonomous aircraft and missile systems, managing the product life-cycle from subsystem design through to fully integrated systems. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft. Responsibilities :
Integration and Testing Solutions :
- Plan, implement, and maintain solutions for integrating and testing missile subsystems and complete missile systems.
- Document all processes and maintain thorough records to ensure traceability and repeatability.

Qualifications You Must Have :
Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Experience with missile / unmanned aircraft testing
Experience performing integration, verification, and field qualification of test assets
Knowledge of system integration lab operation to include hardware in the loop (HWIL) design
Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer :
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Experience with weapons or missile systems
Senior skill set includes ability to perform all stated / implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tiers
Past history of developing baseline project definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of integrated trade studies and analysis

Estimated Starting Salary Range : $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education / training / certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
