Position Summary
Summary :
The Nurse Manager provides and integrates clinical leadership and management of a designated unit of patient care on a twenty four hour basis, consistent with the philosophy and goals of the institution, patient care service department, and clinical service, develops and sustains an environment of excellence in patient / family service, growth and development of staff, and application of evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
Responsibilities : Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (A degree in nursing is required - Baccalaureate and / or Graduate degree; A Master's Degree is preferred)
- Must complete annual mandatory in-service education (Hospital / Nursing)
