Litigation Paralegal Assistant Job Details:
Snell & Wilmer is seeking a Paralegal Assistant to provide essential support to Paralegals and Attorneys within the Litigation practice group in the Orange County office. This role involves assisting with complex litigation matters, maintaining case files, and ensuring smooth case management throughout all phases of litigation.
The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Case & Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible
- Litigation Support: Assist in discovery, trial preparation, and case management, including document collection, review, and production
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Legal Research & Analysis: Assist in reviewing case law, statutes, and legal precedents relevant to commercial litigation
- Client & Team Coordination: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to facilitate seamless case progression
- E-Discovery & Compliance: Support e-discovery efforts, ensuring adherence to local and state rules of civil procedure
Experience and Qualifications:

Education: Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program (or a combination of education and experience)

Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to produce high-quality, error-free work

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Time Management: Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment

Independence & Initiative: A self-starter who can work independently with appropriate supervision while proactively seeking assistance when needed
The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
