What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Bed Maintenance position at Sneller Snow & Grounds?
The Plant Bed Maintenance Job Position consists mostly of keeping landscape planting beds clean of weeds. If hired, you would have properties assigned to you that you are responsible to maintain and keep clean of weeds. You would do this by visiting each property two times per month, April through September, and once in October. It should also be noted that we are looking for a person fit enough to bend at the knees frequently to pull weeds and also able to carry a 3-gallon backpack sprayer to spot-spray Roundup to treat small weeds in planting beds. We pay a budgeted amount for your route that averages $26.25 per hour, including the time to drive from the first site to each other site on that day’s route.
We currently have work available in the greater Grand Rapids area. Depending on how we set them up, these routes can average 20 to 40 hours per month. You can work independently and set your own hours.
