Seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws and cutting equipment to fabricate materials according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Operate saw equipment to cut aluminum extrusions to specific lengths per work orders.
- Ability to read metric tape measure (millimeters)
- Operating tapping table after extrusions are cut to length.
- Threading both ends of aluminum extrusion using an automated tapping machine
- Cutting aluminum extrusion using an automated saw
- Visual quality check after cutting & tapping to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ability to stand and lift 8 hours per day.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and keep work area clean and organized as per company guidelines.
- 7am to 4pm Monday through Fridays
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating saw equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is preferred
- Capable of reading and understanding Blueprints
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs semi-regularly
- Knowledge of tooling and proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prior Manufacturing experience – 1-2 yrs
Hourly salary commensurate with experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
