We are looking for HEAVY MACHINE OPERATORS: Run Roller & Off-Road Truck
$19 per hour 7am until done

Skills and qualifications for a Run Roller position:
· Mechanical aptitude: Understanding of basic machine operation and troubleshooting
· Physical ability: Ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
· Attention to detail: Maintaining consistent compaction levels and observing surface quality
· Communication skills: Effectively coordinating with other crew members on the job site

The position is primarily responsible for operating heavy rolling machinery to grade specifications to the construction of parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and various other surfaces. The Roller Operator distributes, breaks down, compresses, and gives a finished surface to cooling asphalt.
Skills and qualifications for a Off Road Truck position:
An "off-road truck driver operates heavy-duty trucks like dump trucks on rough, unpaved terrain in locations like construction sites, mines, or quarries, primarily responsible for hauling large quantities of materials like dirt, rocks, and gravel to designated areas while performing pre-shift inspections, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to strict safety protocols; often requiring experience with off-road driving and heavy equipment operation.
Key responsibilities may include:
Operating heavy equipment: Safely driving and maneuvering large off-road dump trucks on uneven terrain, navigating tight spaces, and loading/unloading materials.
Pre-shift inspections: Performing thorough pre-shift checks on the truck, including fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and brakes to ensure safe operation.
Material hauling: Transporting large volumes of dirt, rock, or other materials to designated areas within the worksite.
Communication: Maintaining clear communication with site supervisors, loaders, and other personnel through radio or hand signals
Basic maintenance: Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks on the truck as needed
Safety compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment and following proper loading/unloading procedures
Required skills and qualifications:
· Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements depending on the truck type
· Off-road driving experience: Proven ability to operate heavy vehicles on challenging terrain
· Mechanical aptitude: Basic understanding of truck mechanics to perform minor repairs and maintenance
· Physical fitness: Ability to work in demanding physical conditions, including prolonged periods of sitting and exposure to weather elements
