Job Site: Durant, OK
Snelling is seeking to hire an experienced Facility Technician for the Company Client located in Durant, OK.
Pay Rate: $17hr
Shift / Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Voluntary Over-Time
Job Description: Responsible for supporting the Facilities Manager in the daily and safe operations of a manufacturing facility.
Job Functions: include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment.
- Maintain facility include, lighting, paint, tile repair, grounds, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC as needed.
- Perform general labor work as assigned by the Facilities Manager including loading, unloading and moving materials.
- Run errands to support projects.
- Maintain grounds of facility and property to help ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- 3-5 years of Facilities experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Trade School Certification in Electrical, Plumbing, and/or HVAC
- Experience with a Forklift and/or Forklift certification
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water and waste systems, grounds keeping and safety maintenance.
- Ability understand blueprints and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to operate all hand tools and devices required for plant maintenance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
