About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of machined parts by verifying their dimensions using specialized measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect machined parts or tooling using micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other specialized measuring instruments
- Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor
- Complete and maintain inspection reports in a timely manner
