Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble panels and borders according to established work instructions using a variety of sewing machines, including double overcasters, brother quilters, and sergers.
- Read tickets, collect materials required, and initial ticket operator's initial.
- Operate sewing machines using foot lever and hand control, and push aside finished covers.
- Stand up and push aside empty cart, then return with a full cart of borders or panels.
- Sort, fold, and stack covers, borders, or panels as needed.
Technical Requirements:
- Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed, including re-threading and replacing needles.
- Maintain workstation in a neat and clean orderly fashion.
- Ability to read/use a ruler, add/subtract, and calculate fractions.
