Truss Assembler

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, fabrication, and assembly processes. This role involves working with various materials and tools to build and assemble products according to specifications. The Assembler will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Assemble components and parts using hand tools and power tools according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fabricate and build structures or products as required, ensuring precision and quality in every task.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move materials as needed during the assembly process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in the assembly line.
• Must be physically able to swing a 20 oz hammer all day

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong skills in carpentry, machining, and millwork are preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
