The company has an immediate need for CAD Technicians to work in their northern Orlando facility.
Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, utilizing various software tools to create precise and accurate technical drawings and schematics. This role is essential in supporting their engineering and design teams in the development of innovative solutions across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Revise existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for easy access by team members.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for improvements or modifications.
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years in Auto Cad, Cabinet Vision software and Engineering experience in the Commercial Millwork Trade.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Ability to draft clear and precise schematics for various applications.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all work produced.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
