Job Description:
Snelling has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. The Quality Control Technician involves performing inspections, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining quality control documentation.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections throughout all stages of production.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve production-related engineering and manufacturing issues.
- Evaluate data and report deviations from quality standards.
- Perform incoming material inspections to ensure compliance.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a manufacturing quality system.
- Investigate and document non-conformance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Quality Control Technician Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and dial indicators.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
