Fabricator Trainee – Entry-Level Job Opportunity in Lubbock, TX

Job Responsibilities :
- Metal Fabrication & Assembly
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Assist in measuring, marking, and cutting metal materials using tools such as saws, torches, and plasma cutters.
- Help with shaping, bending, and assembling metal components under supervision.
- Welding & Metalwork
- Gain hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Learn to grind, drill, and finish metal parts for quality assembly.
- Assist with welding inspections to ensure structural integrity.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Train to operate press brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
- Help maintain tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to prevent hazards.
- Team Collaboration & Training
- Work alongside experienced fabricators and welders to develop industry skills.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- Show initiative and a willingness to learn new techniques.
Qualifications & Requirements :
No prior fabrication or welding experience required – training provided!
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn hands-on skills
Comfortable working with power tools and heavy equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Eager to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
