Journeyman Electrician
Location: Bryan/College Station, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers to ensure functionality and safety.
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.Bureau of Labor Statistics
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure compliance with state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.Bureau of Labor Statistics
- Mentor and oversee the work of apprentices and other junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and legal regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
