Job Description :
Snelling has an immediate opening for a Truck Equipment Installer in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for any and all tasks related to inspecting, repairing, servicing, and building various types of light duty and / or heavy-duty trucks. This requires the ability to work from prints and instructions as well as use mechanical aptitude to create solutions. This position is also responsible for ensuring excellent customer experience. The Truck Equipment Installer should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include :
- Build and assemble various truck components to specification per customer requirements.
- Install and / or maintain all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned projects and builds.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks in order to build, modify, and follow specifications.
- Maintain shop equipment for safe use in operation.
- Complete repairs and replace malfunctioning parts to return working operation of truck components.
