SUMMARY :
SNF Holding Company is looking for a Plant Operator for the Marmet, WV facility. The Plant Operator is responsible for loading / unloading tank trucks and railcars via hose and pump operation throughout the tank farm. The Plant Operator is also responsible for the entire plant operation process while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the safe and efficient loading / unloading of rail cars and tank trucks.
- Perform daily inspections of pipelines and valves.
- Ensure that proper documentation is completed on all shipments.
- Operate certified scales.
- Complete all required safety training and monthly refresher training.
- Ensure operations are performed under approved procedures and company policy.
- Complete all paperwork associated with liquid bulk loading and transfers.
- Assure the safety of all personnel in the area while conducting material transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including-but not limited to-proper storage of tools and hoses, cleanliness of the work area, proper wear of all personal protective equipment, and immediately containing and reporting any spills or unsafe conditions.
- Attend weekly and monthly safety meetings.
- Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for all employees and visitors.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to the foreman or management.
- Comply with all safety standards and rules, as set by management, including selecting and using the correct personal protective equipment.
- Assisting during routine maintenance and cleaning of theproduction equipment.
