Essential Job Functions:
- Strategic research into assigned Thesis area becoming familiar with meaningful resources to enrich the knowledge base
- Curates targeted lead list for thesis outreach
- High volume of daily outreach via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn to secure qualified Discovery Calls and conduct effective penetration of assigned thesis area(s)
- Manage and prioritize assigned leads in CRM system
- Consistently meet and exceed performance expectations specifically scheduling qualified discovery calls for senior leadership resulting in presentations monthly
- Research valuable conferences for target thesis areas and propose the conferences that should be attended
- Strong desire to grow personally and professionally in both business development and financial acumen
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to hone and develop outreach strategies
- Stay close with investment team to ensure alignment on thesis penetration and viability
Requirements:
- Ability to interact via phone, and video conference with owners of midmarket companies
- 2-4 years’ B2B sales experience and a track record of success with phone-based selling
- Professional demeanor capable of interacting with C Level Executives and company owners
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience
- Experience with outbound sales prospecting and calling in a phone-based environment
- Can reliably commute to and from the office daily
