SNI Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Receivable (A / R) Data Entry Clerk for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of clients financial records.

Responsibilities :
- Process incoming mail payments, including checks and unapplied route collections.
- Manage credit card, ACH, and EFT transactions : run charges, apply payments to customer accounts, generate and send receipts / statements and correspondence, and maintain accurate credit card binder records.
- Verify the accuracy of transaction file payment postings, updating Collections Log for discrepancies.
- Track route collections via Deposits in Transit reports, ensuring timely deposits and follow-up with branches as needed.
- Reconcile Cash Receipts with Deposits to maintain accurate A / R balance.
- Maintain Cash Receipts books for internal control purposes.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments and assist with payment tracking.
- Upload invoices to an EDI portal.
- Enter invoices and service tickets as required.
- Assist other accounting departments with tasks as needed.
