Key Responsibilities:
- Process check requests and provide copies as needed.
- Process weekly tax payments and assist with payroll audits.
- Conduct stop payments on payroll checks and general banking inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve returned items from bank partners.
- Conduct credit card analysis and process expense reports.
- Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions.
- Utilize financial systems to account for debits/credits and ensure proper documentation.
- Process drawdown requests and monthly commissions.
- Assist with maintaining SUTA rates in the accounting system.
- Help with month-end preparation, processing, closing, and reporting.
- Process EFT transactions and check requests.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 0-1 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
- Experience applying financial accounting practices.
- Experience with accounting software and basic accounting functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and display initiative.
