Role Summary:
As an Escrow Officer, you will play a key role in managing real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements. You will act as a trusted intermediary between parties, oversee document preparation, resolve title issues, and facilitate closings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and manage escrow accounts, ensuring all necessary steps are completed accurately.
- Review and process real estate transactions, clearing titles, verifying documents, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, and lenders.
- Identify and resolve title defects, liens, and encumbrances.
- Calculate prorations and prepare transaction statements.
- Conduct closing meetings, ensuring documents are properly executed and funds are disbursed accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address transaction challenges efficiently.

- Experience working in an escrow role (Officer, Assistant, Jr. Officer, etc.)
