SNI Companies has partnered industry leading global company looking for a Benefits Specialist to join their team! The person in this role is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k). The ideal candidate will be proactive and people-focused and will have a strong background in benefits and retirement program administration.
This role will report to the Director of HR . The ideal candidate will be based in Jacksonville with the option of working a hybrid schedule once training has been completed.
What you get to do every day :
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS, including thorough regular audits, to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
- Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life status changes.
- Responds to benefits inquiries regarding plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, benefit claim issues, plan changes, and other inquiries.
- Responds to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts.
- Reconciles carrier invoices monthly.
- Assists with the open enrollment process.
- Provides necessary reports for allocation / billing charges.
- Serves as one of the primary contact for benefits and retirement vendors.
