Logistics Specialist Export
Global Transportation firm has immediate, fulltime on-site opening in the Inver Grove Heights area for an Ocean Export Agent on the team!
Competitive starting Salary $22-$27.00 per hour depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm schedule

Ideal Candidate :
2-3 years plus experience in Freight / Transportation / Trucking industry
Strong technical skills, Excel, SAP, AS400 a plus
Knowledge of AES filings, tracking and tracing shipments in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Bachelors degree a plus, HS / GED required
Some Duties :
Preparation of export shipments and distribution of International Export Documents. Prepare export shipments for assigned customers. This may include shipping, labeling and distribution of cargo
Prepare export documents for distribution to traffic, CFS and warehouse. Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, steamship line and / or other facilities to obtain necessary information to process shipments in the best way. Filing and data entry. Issue freight bills and invoices and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term. General business support function as assigned. Tracking and tracing shipments. Assist with rate proposals and reporting for key accounts
