Summary :
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the processing of payroll for employees. The candidate will assist and support all personnel through a variety of tasks related to the effectiveness of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Bi-weekly processing of payroll files for employees.
- Processing new hires, rehires, terminations and pay rate changes.
- Reconcile and audit payroll for accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries for accounting.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Answer manager and employee payroll questions
- Special Projects as needed.
- Effectively use various computer software payroll systems.
- Manage a high-volume number of accounts.
- Skilled at managing time to ensure all deadlines are met.
