Assurance Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assurance Associate to join our client's team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, hone technical skills, and grow within a supportive, professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Apply general accounting and auditing principles based on the level of service provided.
• Plan and manage daily activities for assurance engagements in alignment with firm standards.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to the engagement team.
• Build and maintain direct communication with clients.
• Supervise and mentor assurance staff during engagements (if serving as In-Charge).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team success.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Accounting.
• At least one year of recent audit experience in public accounting.
• CPA designation (required).
• Strong technical skills with a commitment to leveraging technology effectively.
• Experience servicing high net-worth clients preferred.
• Ability to meet client needs with excellent communication, interpersonal, and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to professional ethics and high standards of integrity.
• A team player with a drive to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
