The ideal candidate will have a CPA and 3 years in either a large Public Accounting firm or a manufacturing company. They must have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, auditing and / or preparing financial statements, inventory accounting and strong Excel. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Assist preparing month end close, including preparing financial statements, journal entries, variance analysis, inventory analysis, ad hoc reporting
- Work closely with team members and multiple locations to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Prepare inventory and cost reports for executives
