The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting our organization's desktop computing environment, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Administer Office 365 services, including user management, email setup, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, and policies.
- Ensure network connectivity and perform basic network troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and security patches.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Office 365 administration.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred).
