SNI Technology has an immediate for several Software Development Consultants to join a highly successful and growing consulting firm in Baltimore, MD!

The ideal candidate will possess a great working knowledge of low-code automation, implementation of large-scale data sets, and managing full project lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to gather requirements
• Create project scope, manage expectations, and deliver results
• Develop, test, and finalize software solutions
• Invoice for work done
• Manage time, contracts, and delivery from end to end
• Work Style:
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment.
• Must enjoy variety and unpredictability—this is not a routine role.
• Billing: Consultants must track their billable hours (e.g., 5, 8, 10, and up to 30 hours) and understand the need to be consistently billable.
• Onsite/Remote Work:
• Primarily onsite in Baltimore, though some remote work is possible.
• The firm follows a "4x9" workweek (Fridays or Mondays off). Holidays still count as a day off, but you need to fulfill the four 9-hour workdays in the week.

• Candidates should have the ambition to eventually control their own processes and lead projects independently.
• Comfortable with chaos and able to perform well without a set routine.
• Work Culture:
• Employees need strong fundamental computer science skills, particularly in database design (3rd normal form) and object orientation.
• Should not require constant supervision or detailed instructions—this is a place for people who want to be in charge.
• Backgrounds in sports or competitive environments are common among successful employees (e.g., athletes, gamers, or people with a team-based mentality).
• Technical Skills:
• Most candidates won’t have specific software knowledge initially but should be quick learners.
• Core technologies: Salesforce, Dynamics, Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Automate.
